How to Create Commodity Code G/L Defaults
The Commodity Code G/L Defaults Add is responsible for collecting the different variations of Location Codes and GL Account Codes. The combination of the three codes must be unique.
Use the following steps to create commodity code G/L defaults:
1. Click on the System tab, click Code Management, and select Commodity Code G/L.
2. Click on the Create New Code button.
3. Enter the Commodity Code, or click on the Search icon to search for a commodity code.

4. Enter the Location Code, or click on the Search icon to search for a commodity code.
Note: Refer to How to Use Location Code Search for more information on how to use this feature.
5. Enter the G/L Account Code, or click on the Search icon to search for a G/L Account.
Note: Refer to How to use G/L Search Wizard for more information on how to use this feature.
6. Click on the Save button to create the new commodity code G/L default. A confirmation message will be displayed.
