Requisition Delegates

The delegate process allows designated individuals to perform another person’s actions for a specified period of time. An individual can assign delegates as well as be a delegate for another person. Users must be set up as a Delegate to perform Requisition Review tasks on behalf of another user.

Only a Delegator can grant a delegate an assignment. For example, a school principal is away on vacation and wishes to have the secretary perform the principal purchasing duties. In this case the principal is the delegator and the secretary is the delegate.

The delegate is granted the same General Ledger security and Mail to Buyer privileges of the delegator during a Requisition Review “On Behalf Of” session.
