How to Create HRS Grids

Once negotiations are complete and the contract has been signed, the Grids are also complete and ready to copy over. This screen is used to run a background process that copies Grids from one Projection back to HRS and closes the contract. It closes the existing HRS Grids with an End Date of the day before the Negotiation Period Start Date and opens the new Grids in HRS with the Negotiation Period Start Date.

A number of contract codes will appear and you can select the contract code / projection code you wish to generate or you can perform a query on the specific code you wish to run. Enter “Y” in the run indicator field and submit the job.

Note: Once you run this process, the new grids will be created in the Compensation menu and cannot be amended or deleted.

Use the following steps to Create HRS Grids:

          1. Click on CNS

          2. Click on Create HRS Grids

          3. Click on Create HRS Grids

          4. Select the record that needs to be Run and select Run = Y in the Run Column for that record

          5. Edit any relevant parameters (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          6. Click the Save button to save your changes

          7. Click the Submit button to Create HRS Grid
