How to Assign Absence Accounts to Absence Groups
This screen is used to add, modify or delete Absence Accounts that have been paired with Absence Groups. Absence Groups may have multiple Absence Accounts assigned. It also allows allocation and year end algorithms to be defined for these Absence Accounts. An Absence Group is used to group employees according to the controls governing the award and use of absence credits. In most cases, Absence Groups must be defined for each bargaining unit.
Use the following steps to Link Absence Accounts to Absence Groups
1. Click on Board Control
2. Click on Absence
3. Click on Absence Groups

4. Click the Find button at top of the menu bar to see all records in the database.

5. If K212 HRP dialog box displays, click Yes to continue.

6. Select an Absence Group to modify

7. Select a Absence Account value (i.e 10SK)
8. Select a Web Display Indicator value (i.e A)
9. Select a Report Negative value (i.e Yes )
10. Select a Round Type value (i.e N)
11. Select a Top Up Account value (i.e N)
12. IF Algorithm Required = Yes then the Algorithm Code grid below will need to be filled out with all relevant information. Right-click the grid and select New Record to add Algorithm information

13. Enter in any other relevant information on the screen (If applicable) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)
14. Click the Save button to save your changes
