How to Import ONSIS Career Experience File

This background process will load OnSIS Career Experience data from a file into the K212 HRP database.  The specifications for this file are included in this guide so that they are available to programmers of other systems. This module can also be used to load the OnSIS Career Experience data directly from OnSIS (ie. the file format is compatible with the CSV file provided by OnSIS). 

Use the following steps to Import ONSIS Career Experience File:

          1. Click on Board Control

          2. Click on ONSIS Report

          3. Click on ONSIS Career Experience Import Job

          4. Select a Use Default File?  value (i.e Yes)

                              IF Selected Yes, Select a Import Job File Name location

          5. Select an Existing Records value (If applicable) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          6. Select a Submit Mode value (i.e Trial)

                              Selecting 'Trial' mode will generate a test document of all updated records when submitted, but will not actually update the records within the database until submitted in 'Update' Mode.

          7. Click on the Submit button to Import the file. (The file will be imported from the default logfile location)
