How to Import ONSIS MEN File
This process updates Educators with MEN; following the Generate MEN Request process. When the Generate MEN Request file is uploaded to OnSIS, a Results file is produced. Once this file is downloaded and the process is complete, the MEN field will be updated for the appropriate educators.
A Ministry Educator Number (MEN) is a unique identifier assigned to all board and school level educators in the province of Ontario. The MEN replaces the use of the Social Insurance Number (SIN) by the Ministry of Education. It is used to facilitate the collection of educator assignment data at both board and school level..
Use the following steps to Import ONSIS MEN File:
1. Click on Board Control
2. Click on ONSIS Report
3. Click on Update Educators with MEN

4. Click on the Submit button to Import the file. (The file will be imported from the default logfile location)
