How to Assign SmartFindExpress Classification Codes & Timesheet Rounding to Employee Groups

 

This screen is used to maintain the following information for each Employee Group:

The assigned SmartFindExpress Classification Codes

The timesheet rounding to be used for employee time worked

 

This information is used by the SmartFindExpress Job Translation process when importing timesheets and absences from the SmartFindExpress Job Information file.

 

Use the following steps to Assign SmartFindExpress Classification Codes & Timesheet Rounding to Employee Groups:

 

          1. Click on System

 

          2. Click on SmartFindExpress Interface

 

          3. Click on SmartFindExpress Translation Table Maintenance

 

          

          

 

          4. Click the Find button at top of the menu bar to see all records in the database

          

          5. If K212 HRP dialog box display, click Yes to continue.

          

          6. Select a current Employee Group

          7. Right-click the grey grid below the Classification Code column and Select New Record

          

          8. Enter the relevant information within the grid. Double-click on a grid-column to modify the value (If applicable) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          9. Right-click the grey grid below the Hours Worked column and Select New Record

          

          10. Enter the relevant information within the grid. Double-click on a grid-column to modify the value (If applicable) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          11. Right-click the grey grid below the Time Absent column and Select New Record

          

          12. Enter the relevant information within the grid. Double-click on a grid-column to modify the value (If applicable) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          13. Click the Save button to save your changes
