How to Add/Modify Staffing Categories

 

This screen is used to define the Staffing Categories used in the staffing process and in granting K212 Portal access for users.

 

Use the following steps to Add/Modify Staffing Categories:

 

          1. Click on Staffing

 

          2. Click on Staffing Process

          

          3. Click on Staffing Category Maintenance

 

           

          

          

          4. Click the Find button at top of the menu bar to see all records in the database.

          

          5. If K212 HRP dialog box displays, click Yes to continue.

          

          6. Select a current Staffing Category Code to modify or Select New at the top of the menu screen to add a new code

          

          7. Enter a Staffing Category Code value

          8. Enter a unique Abbreviation value

          9. Select a Staffing Type value (i.e Full year or Semestered depending on the school board)

          10. Right-click the grey grid below the Group Code column and Select New Record.

          

          11. Enter in any other relevant information on the grid.(All fields are Mandatory) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          12. Select the Location Codes tab & Right-click the grey grid below the Location Code column and Select New Record.

          

          13. Enter in any other relevant information on the grid.(All fields are Mandatory) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          14. Click the Save button to save your changes
