How to Add/Modify CPP, EIC, WSIB & EHT Details
This screen is used to add, modify, duplicate or delete parameters for processing statutory deductions (other than tax) from payments to Employees. Refer to the Submit Pay Run User Guide (Payroll > Pay Process > Pay Run Menu > Pay Run) for details of these calculations.
Each “CPP, EIC, WSIB, EHT” record contains details required to process all of the following statutory deductions from an Employee’s pay:
•CPP – Canada Pension Plan
•EIC – Employment Insurance Commission
•WSIB – Workplace Safety and Insurance Board
•EHT – Employer Health Tax
Use the following steps to Add/Modify CPP, EIC, WSIB & EHT Details:
1. Click on Payroll
2. Click on Board
3. Click on CPP, EIC, ESIB, EHT

4. Click the Find button at top of the menu bar to see all records in the database.

5. If K212 HRP dialog box displays, click Yes to continue.

6. Select a Start Date to modify or Select New at the top of the menu screen to add a new record

7. Select a Start Date value
8. Select a CPP Expense Account value
9. Select a CPP Liability Account value
10. Enter a CPP Annual Exception value
11. Enter a Maximum Pensionable Earnings value
12. Enter a CPP Employee Rate (%) value
13. Enter a Board Portion value
14. Enter a Min Age value
15. Enter a Max Age value
16. Select a WSIB Expense Account value
17. Select a WSIB Liability Account value
18. Enter in any other relevant information on the screen (If applicable) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)
19. Click the Save button to save your changes
