How to Calculate Service on Vacation Earnings

This background process calculates additional service credits an Employee is entitled to for vacation earnings, since this does not occur as part of the Pay Run background process. It determines the additional service credits an Employee is entitled to, based on all vacation earnings that the Employee has had over the year.

Use the following steps to Calculate Service on Vacation Earnings:

          1. Click on Payroll

          2. Click on Pay Process

          3. Click on OMERS

          4. Click on Calculate Service on Vacation Earnings

          5. Enter a Processing Year value

          6. Click on the Submit button to calculate service
