How to Realign Employee Positions

 

This screen is used to transfer Employee Position details from one Employee Position to another and updates several tables in K212 HRP that relate to an Employee Position (including YTD totals). For example, if a timesheet has been entered for the old position, this screen will update it to refer to the new position. Position Realignment is performed at the employee level (i.e. you must specify position details for each individual employee for realignment to occur).

 

Use the following steps to Realign Employee Positions:

 

          1. Click on Payroll

          2. Click on Pay Process

          3. Click on Employee Position Realignment

          

          

          

          

          4. Enter a Search parameter, such as Employee Group  or Job Code (If applicable)

                    To View ALL Employee's, Simply click the Find button, with no parameters entered.

          5. Click the Find button at top of the menu bar to see all records in the database.

          

          6. Select an Employee ID to modify on the grey grid above the fields

          7. The grey grid below the fields will populate with employee positions for that specific Employee ID

          8. Select a Job Code to modify

          9. Click on the Realign or Reverse  button

          10. When prompted, Click on the Okay button to confirm the process

          11. Click the Save button to save your changes.
