This utility can be run whenever there is a discrepancy between students and students in the accounts area. It is also of benefit to utilize space in the database by compacting bits of information. Please ensure that no user is in the Accounts area before running. It is also recommended that a school compact the database after generating a lot of reports. Choose Accounts, Utilities, Correlate and Compact Database.
This utility can be used if during a school year a school decides to define course fees. It is not necessary to run if a school has scheduled using course fees. It will not re-assign fees to a course that has already received course fees.
The Assign Fees to Timetables screen will let you specify options for the Charge and Due Dates. The user can now
1) use the class start date (or the first day of the semester if there is no start date for that class) and specify the number of days before the payment is due, or
2) use a specific date. The user can enter the Charge Date and Due Date manually.
