Ministry Report On Student Attendance (Caribbean and Common Market only)

There is a report that provides information to the Ministry of Education on students’ attendance.  This report is available only for the Caribbean and Common Market using Attendance, Print Attendance Registers, Secondary Students Attendance Report

The report is typically printed on a monthly basis, but you can also select a date range

Once you have selected the Month or a Date Range, click View to see a report, or Print to print the report.

The Form columns are based on the student’s grade field (e.g. grade 7 in Maplewood represents Form I on the report). The numbers represent the number of students present on the date. If a student is absent for just half a day, the student would count as .5 present. Since students are assumed present every day to school, only those who are not present must have their attendance entered into the student’s attendance record.

Zeros will appear for all columns on dates where students are not expected to attended school (e.g. the 13th and 16th on this example), however these dates do not count in the No. Days Opening.  Holidays (school is closed) and exam & special days (e.g. days where the teachers are expected to attend, but not the students) and board holidays (days where both the students and the teachers are not expected to attend) are set up in the calendar (using File, School Setup, Calendar, Edit).
