Each standard contains levels of performance. Levels demonstrate the range of performance for each of the three identified grades. In this example, levels 2 and 3 are considered to be within the expected range of standards for student performance in Ontario.
Performance described in Level 1 is below the expected standard; performance described in Level 4 is beyond the expected standard.
