Import School Photos - DOS

Import from Disk

1. Choose Main Index, System Maintenance, Update System.
2. Select the drive and press Enter. Continue to insert disks until all student photographs have been loaded.

Import from CD

You can change the program to access from another location such as a CD-ROM rather than copying the pictures as instructed below. You must first modify the structure file.

1. Access a DOS prompt.
2. From the program sub-directory (e.g. C:\ADMIN\PR) enter destlo.
3. When requested, enter the location of the structure file (normally C:\ADMIN\PR). The location for the pictures will appear. Although other locations will be displayed, they should not be changed.
4. Enter the new location for the pictures (e.g. G:\PICTURES).
5. Press Escape twice to return to DOS.

This new information in the structure file will be read the next time you go into your Maplewood system.

• GIF format
• 320 x 200 resolution 
• 256 colours
• Image should occupy the full screen
