Share Reports - for Classroom Manager

*This is only available for Report Builder for Classroom Manager. 

Choose File, Share Reports.

1. You can not have the report open that you are sharing so click the New button so that the report you are currently on will be available to be shared.
2. Select the report you wish to share with other teachers.
3. Select the teachers with whom you want to share this report. You can select all of the teachers by clicking Select All or you can multi-select the teachers from the list of teachers.
4. Click OK.

This will copy the report to all of the teachers selected directory in the clsmgr directory and will put it in the index of reports for the selected teacher. If a report exists with the same name as this report it will overwrite it with this report. This was provided so that a report could be updated and then distributed to all the teachers with the updates. 

Also if the teacher has 999 reports already it will overwrite the 999th report in the index. To keep reports from being overwritten that the teacher has created for themselves the person who is creating the report to be shared should name the report with a prefix so that it will stand out from the teachers reports. 

An example would be a report with the name _SC Class Marks. By using the underscore, the report will stay at top of list and the SC denotes that it was a shared report created for whole school.
