How to Create a BAS/BPS Interface File (IF APPLICABLE)

This screen is used to create a .dat file (for each Employee Group run) that contains budget information for each GL Account Code based on the accepted Projection Code for the Contract Code selected. These files are later used by an interface program (BAS, BPS (Budgetary Planning System) or another accounting program used for the same purpose by a Board) and are accompanied by a report.

Use the following steps to Create a BAS/BPS Interface File: 

          1. Click on CNS

          2. Click on BAS BPS Interface

          3. Click on BAS BPS Interface

          4. Select the record that needs to be Run and select Run = Y in the Run Column for that record

          5. Edit any relevant parameters (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          6. Click the Save button to save your changes

          7. Click the Submit button to Create a BAS BPS Interface file
