How to Import ONSIS Files

This background process will load OnSIS assignment data from a file into the K212 HRP database.  The specifications for this file are included in this guide so that they are available to programmers of other systems. This module can also be used to load the OnSIS assignment data directly from OnSIS (ie. the file format is compatible with the CSV file provided by OnSIS).  Loading the OnSIS data directly from OnSIS is useful when migrating to K212 HRP but is not expected to be a task that would be performed on a regular basis.

Use the following steps to Import ONSIS File:

          1. Click on Board Control

          2. Click on ONSIS Report

          3. Click on ONSIS Import Job

          4. Select an ONSIS Location Type?  value (i.e Yes)

                              IF Selected Yes, Select an Import Job File Name location

          5. Select a Existing Records value (If applicable) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          6. Select a Report Start Date for Imported Records value (If applicable) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)

          7. Click on the Submit button to Import the file. (The file will be imported from the default logfile location)
