How to Add/Modify Salary Grid Step Rounding for an Employee Group
This screen is used to define how an employee’s Seniority Service years are rounded before being used to determine employees’ new salary grid steps during the Compensation Update process.
•The employee Compensation Rounding function allows you to create non-standard compensation rounding methods which can be used by the Salary/Allowance Update procedure. This table contains the rounded step values for both employee salary and allowances.
•If an employee's compensation is updated using the Salary/Allowance Update function, and 'Other' is defined as the method of rounding, the procedure will reference the Rounding table for the required values. The Seniority/Service value is matched against the Round From and Round To values and the appropriate value is retrieved.
Use the following steps to Add/Modify Salary Grid Step Rounding for an Employee Group
1. Click on Board Control
2. Click on Compensation
3. Click on Compensation Rounding - Salary

4. Click the Find button at top of the menu bar to see all records in the database.

5. If K212 HRP dialog box displays, click Yes to continue.

6. Select an Employee Group Code to add rounding to
7. Right-click the grey grid below the Rounding From column and Select New Record

8. Enter in any other relevant information within the grid (All Fields are Mandatory) (Consult the user guides for more information about each field)
9. Click the Save button to save your changes
