How to Add/Modify Calendars to Employee Groups
This menu option is used to copy a Pay Period Calendar from one Employee Group to another. It is used at the beginning of the year to duplicate Pay Calendars for the whole year for Employee Groups with the same pay calendar parameters (ie. payment method, pay type, number of pays and calendar exception codes). This facility reduces the time required to define multiple calendars for multiple Employee Groups with identical pay period parameters.
Use the following steps to Add/Modify Calendars to Employee Groups:
1. Click on Payroll
2. Click on Group Data
3. Click on Copy Calendar

4. Select an Employee Group to be Copied value
5. Enter a Pay Year value
6. Select a Target Group value
7. Click on the Copy button to copy over calendars to target employee group
8. Click the Save button to save your changes.
