How to Create a Commodity Code

Use the following steps to create a commodity code:

1. Click on the System tab, click Code Management, and select Commodity Code.

2. Click on the Create New Code button.

3. In the Commodity Code Add screen, enter the Code.

The code must be a unique, two (2) character, alphanumeric code.  

4. Enter a commodity code Description.

The description can be a maximum 50 alphanumeric characters.

5. Click on the Save button to add the commodity code. A confirmation message will be displayed.
