How to Generate a Cash Receipt Transaction Report

 

Use the following steps to generate a Cash Receipt Transaction Report:

 

1. Click on the Business tab, click Accounts Receivable, and select Cash Receipt Transaction Report.

 

2. If applicable, in the A/R Account Number and/or the A/R Account Name section, enter the accounts in the Start and/or End or click on the Search icon to search for an A/R Account through the A/R Account Management dialog box.

 

Note: Refer to How to Search for an A/R Account for more information on how to use this feature.

 

          

 

3. If applicable, in the Amount section, enter the amounts in the Start and/or End fields.

 

4. If applicable, in the Cash Receipt Number section, enter the cash receipt numbers in the Start and/or End fields.

 

5. If applicable, in the Cheque Number section, enter the cheque numbers in the Start and/or End fields.

 

6. If applicable, click on the calendar icon to enter the Start and/or End date.

 

7. If applicable, click on the Revenue Category drop-down menu to select an option.

 

8. If applicable, click on the Cashier drop-down menu to select an option.

 

9. If applicable, enter a Reference.

 

10. If applicable, deselect any of the following selection boxes: Cheque, Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Debit, Other and/or EFT.

 

11. If applicable, click on the Include Deactivated selection box.

 

12. If applicable, in the Group Order & Column section, select any of the following selection boxes: A/R Account #, Transaction Date (and Date or Month radio button), Revenue Category and/or Cashier. 

This section is used to group each selection in order in the report, based on the order the user selects   (See example below, under the Group Order and Column section).  

 

13. Click on the Generate Report button or click on the Clear All button to remove all input information and reset the fields to their default values.

 

          

14. To download the report in an Excel, PDF or Word file format select the corresponding option and click the Export button.

 

Note: All exported file types have the Save (Download) or Print options. 

 

 

15. Click on the Back button to return to the Cash Receipt Transaction Report screen.
