How to Use DB Export

 

Use the following  steps to export data:

 

1. Click on the System tab, click DB Export, and select one of the following options: Cheque Export, G/L Account Dictionary Export, G/L Alais Dictionary Export, G/L Export, Journal Entry Export, Stock Export or Vendor Export.

 

2. Click on the Setting List drop-down menu to select an option.

 

Note: Click on the Modify Setting hyperlink to modify the selected setting. Refer to How to Modify an Export Setting for more information on this process.

 

 

3. If applicable, select one of the following Export To radio buttons: Text (selected by default) or Excel.

 

4. If applicable, use the Search Criteria section to to filters options.

 

Note: Search Criteria options differ based on the sub-module selected. Refer to the sub-module hyperlinks in DB Export for more detailed information regarding search criteria.

 

5. If applicable, click on the Preview button. This will display the first few lines of the data to be exported as a check before processing the export.

 

 

6. Click on the DB Export button to process the export, or click on the Clear All button to remove all input information and reset the fields to their default values. A dialog box will display the number of records being exported.

 

7.  Click on the OK button to continue, or click on the Cancel button to return to the previous screen. A file will download (bottom left corner) to view.

 

Note: The options to Save (Download) and/or Print are available.
