Staffing Process Semestered Management
School principals and other administrators can view assignments on the K212 Portal once they have been Published by HR through K212 HRP. See additional details in the Staffing Process Overview guide.
The K212 Portal is used to access the Staff List Report, Staffing Process (Full Year) and Staffing Process (Semestered).
Process:
1. Select a Location to staff. If a specific location is not shown, contact HR to ensure you have been given the correct permissions for Staffing.
2. Click Search. Staffing Process Search results will display.
3. Click on the Location you want to staff.
4. Enter Notes in the text box to the right of the employee for HR to review for the location.
5. Click Save.
6. Click on the Assignment/Grades Record to make changes.
Note: The Full-Year Staffing process will only have one set of fields instead of semesters. Users can change the FTE fields or Holding/Leave FTE on the New FTE and New Holding/Leave FTE column.
7. Click Save to save your changes.
8. Use the parameters at the top of the screen to filter your search and click on Search to display the results below.
9. Save your changes or Cancel to go back to the main staffing screen, or Click Cancel and Select Another Employee.
10. Add vacancies by clicking Add Vacancy on the main staffing screen.
11. Click Save to save the vacancy.
Note: Users can delete records added by clicking on the X at the beginning of the row.
12. Once all staffing is complete, verify each assignment by clicking on the 'checkbox' at the beginning of the record.
13. Click on Submit to HR Button to finish the process.
