How to Use Budget Query

 

Use the following steps to use budget query:

 

1. Click on the Business tab, click Queries, and select Budget Query.

 

2. Enter or select information from any one of the following fields: Account # ,Favourite Accounts or Grouped Accounts. The account information will populate in the grid below.

 

Note: If an account number is not known click on the search icon in the Account # field. Refer to How to Use G/L Search Wizard for more information on how to use this feature.

 

To add an account number to the Favourite Accounts drop-down menu, click on the Add to Favourites button.

 

 

 

3. If applicable, click on the Edit Groups button to change the G/L account groups.

 

Note: Refer to the G/L Groups module for more information on this section.

 

4. If applicable, to further refine the search criteria, deselect the Hide Period 13-15 selection box.

 

 

5. If applicable, in the Year/ Period section, click on the Start and/or End drop-down menus to select the year and period to search between.

 

6. If applicable, select or deselect any of the following selection boxes: Include Carry Forward Balance (selected by default) and/or Zero Suppress.

 

7. Click on the Search button.
