Commodity Code

Commodity Codes are defined specifically for grouping and reporting tendered items. The are also used to gather essential information for the tendering process.

Codes are reported on the Stock Report & Stock Product Catalogue. The Shopping Cart process uses the Codes in order to search for stock items. They are also used in the Stock import and export routines.

Note: The Commodity Code is the first to be created, followed by the Commodity Code G/L (if applicable)
