How to Search an A/R Invoice

 

There are two ways to perform an A/R invoice search in the A/R Invoice Management screen:

Simple Search

Advanced Search

 

Simple Search

 

Use the following steps to perform a simple A/R invoice search:

 

1. Click on the Business tab click Accounts Receivable, and select A/R Invoice Management.

 

2. If applicable, enter the A/R Account.

 

Note: The Invoice Number field will become available when the A/R Account is entered.

 

 

3. If applicable, enter the Invoice Number.

 

4. If applicable, click on the Year drop-down menu to select an option.

 

5. If applicable, click on the Period drop-down menu to select an option.

 

6. Click on the Search button. All related results will display in the grid.

 

 

Advanced Search

 

Use the following steps to perform an advanced A/R invoice search:

 

1. In the A/R Invoice Management screen, click on the Advanced Search link. The advanced search fields will be displayed. 

 

Note: The Advanced Search link will change to Single Search.

 

2. If applicable, in the Account # section, enter the From and/or To fields.

 

 

3. If applicable, in the Invoice # section, enter the From and/or To fields.

 

4. If applicable, in the Batch- Year/Period section, click on the From and/or To drop-down menus to select the year and period to search between.

 

5. If applicable, in the A/R Account section, enter the Name and if needed, use the wild card search button..

6. If applicable, click on the Type drop-down to select an option.

 

7. If applicable, click on the A/R Category drop-down menu to select one or more options. Use the Search field to enter specific information, use the Select All button to select all available options or use the Select None button to remove all selected options.

 

8. If applicable, click on the Batch Code drop-down menu to select one or more options. Use the Search field to enter specific information, use the Select All button to select all available options or use the Select None button to remove all selected options.

 

9. If applicable, in the Where Amount section, select a symbol from the drop-down menu and enter the amount in the next field.

 

 

10. If applicable, in the Status section, select any of the following selection boxes: Partial Paid, Paid in Full, Unpaid, and/or cancelled.

 

11. Click on the Search button. All related results will display in the grid.
