You can print 4 types of Incident Reports.
Choose Incidents, Incident Reports and select from the following report types:
Special note about printing Parent/Guardian copies of incident report letters.
When printing a report and parent/guardian is selected to print on the page, it will not print the correct name unless the guardian is one of the first 6 types listed under Custody Types.
To set up custody types, choose Students, Custom Fields/Tables, Custody Types.
To set up custody information, choose Students, Student Records and select the student. Click the Biographics tab. Then click the Custody button. Fill out the Special Custody form by first clicking the Custody button, then select Custodian, Lives With and Guardian options from the drop down list. The options that populate this list are those you set up earlier under Students, Custom Fields/Tables, Custody Types.
You may print an incident form and it appears to be pulling the wrong Parent/Guardian when a student has Special Custody. The reason this happens is that we can only identify the first 6 items in the 'Custody' enrolment table. From that we can map it to the parent information to pull correctly. For example, a student's Special custody flag may be set to 'Grandmother', which is not listed in the first 6 custody types. In parents, she is marked as a 'Guardian'. Change the item in the drop down list in the special custody interface to 'Guardian' and it will work.
