ONSIS Overview:

The OnSIS function in K212 HRP has been enhanced to improve efficiency and address issues experienced with the submissions.  OnSIS specific data is stored in 3 new K212 HRP tables and can be maintained using the OnSIS Assignment Maintenance screen and the OnSIS Automation screen.

ONSIS Functionality:

The intention of this module is to maintain educator information that will be reported to OnSIS when the batch submission is executed.

OnSIS uses this information for updating Ministry Educator Number (MEN) data.  Ministry Educator Number (MEN) is a unique identifier that is assigned to an Educator by OnSIS.  The MEN will remain with the educator as an identifier for all OnSIS activities connected with that person.

All teaching career experience, both within and outside of Ontario, is to be recorded in OnSIS.  This can be reported to OnSIS via the extranet URL: https://www.gsa.gov.on.ca using the online application or the OnSIS Batch Submission.
