The Achievement area of Maplewood connectEd provides the tools to record students’ marks and comments which can be shared with students and parents, and can be used on report cards.
Since each school may have unique report cards, many schools create their own reference material for teachers so that instructions are more tailored for that school’s individual setup. The images in this manual may not necessarily reflect the content used in your school, however the concepts are the same regardless of the setup.
Before any teacher may begin to use the Achievement options in Maplewood connectEd, the school office must first set up some important parameters that are vital the achievement area. Maplewood’s staff works closely with divisions, boards, and individual schools to ensure that the setup is done correctly and in a manner that will allow the school’s report cards to be generated.

At a minimum, teachers are expected to enter the marks and comments that are required on the report cards, however, security rights may be granted to teachers to record detailed diagnostic, formative and summative assessments in markbooks.Those teachers who are using Maplewood connectEd for report card entry only (not using markbooks), we would suggest reading these sections:
