OPC - Occupational, Position & Control Overview:
The Occupational, Position and Control Module allows boards to define default values for certain jobs and positions including setting up reporting information, budgeting and salary.
Occupational, Position & Control Functionality:
• It will allow you to run reports for headcount budgeting, such as Overfill and Vacancy reporting.
• It will automatically populate Position details at the Employee level such as Employee Group code and GL Code, by entering just the Job Code, Location and Establishment Codes.
• It is also necessary to set up OPC if you are using Employee Appraisal System (EASy)
• A position is created by the use of the 4 key fields: Job Code, Location Code, Establishment Code and Employee Group
• If Establishment Codes are not being used N/A is the default value and acceptable entry
