OPC - Occupational, Position & Control Overview:

The Occupational, Position and Control Module allows boards to define default values for certain jobs and positions including setting up reporting information, budgeting and salary.

Occupational, Position & Control Functionality:

It will allow you to run reports for headcount budgeting, such as Overfill and Vacancy reporting.

It will automatically populate Position details at the Employee level such as Employee Group code and GL Code, by entering just the Job Code, Location and Establishment Codes.

It is also necessary to set up OPC if you are using Employee Appraisal System (EASy)

A position is created by the use of the 4 key fields: Job Code, Location Code, Establishment Code and Employee Group

If Establishment Codes are not being used N/A is the default value and acceptable entry
